The weekend of the wedding is also Boston University’s Parents’ Weekend and Head of the Charles (a big rowing tournament). We suggest you book your rooms soon. We’ve included a list of local hotels and have reserved some discounted rooms. Below is some more info on each hotel. We are planning to run a shuttle between some of these hotels and the church/reception to help everyone get to and from the wedding.

Best Western Terrace Inn - Brighton, MA
Five to ten single or double rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate of $239.00/night at the Best Western. (If you book the room on your own soon you might be able to get a better rate - $170 for Friday night and $230 for Saturday night.) It is right on the subway line with easy access into Boston. It has an open floor plan, so there is no guarantee that the rooms will be near each other. Courtyard by Marriott - Brookline, MA
We have reserved 15 discounted rooms at this hotel for $269/night. This one is right on the subway line with easy access into Boston. It is also relatively close to our apartment and is walking distance to shopping and movies. To book a room, call (617) 734-1393 and mention the Scheopner Torres wedding.

Hotel Buckminster
We have reserved 15 discounted rooms at this small hotel in Kenmore Square right near Fenway Park at a discount rate of $139 (single queen) $149 (single king) and $189 (double queen). If you book a top floor room and the Sox make it into the World Series you could see right onto the field, no ticket necessary. It is near the Subway and is right near the Brookline/Boston line. Sheraton - Newton, MA
We have reserved the last remaining 10 single king bed rooms at the Shereton in Newton for $159/night. This hotel is right by the church and has a shuttle to and from the airport, but does not have easy access to the subway and into Boston itself unless you like the bus or rent a car. Homewood Suites - Arlington MA
We are working on reserving rooms at the Homewood Suites. The hotel has luxury extended stay suites with amenities such as an in-suite kitchen for those who feel the need to cook their own meals. This hotel is near the reception hall but wil require that you bring or rent a car to get around town or into Boston to sight-see.
